We’ve been hiding this little gem for a while, but it’s finally time to share it with you!

My Mum and our neighbour Mrs Bruce would meet at the fence, swapping jars of pickles and jams, plates of pikelets, scones, and the odd slice of cake or two. It was never just about the food — it was about friendship, sharing, and the simple joy of homemade goodness.

So when it came time to name this jam, there was really only one choice. “Mrs Bruce’s Nectarine Jam” — a nod to those sunny fence-line moments filled with laughter, kindness, and the taste of summer.

Bright, fruity, and just a little nostalgic, this jam is sunshine in a jar. Spread it on hot toast, swirl it through yoghurt, or serve with fresh scones — however you enjoy it, you’ll taste the sweetness of good neighbours and good times.
